Forbidden Photos From The Scene Of Abuja Bomb Blasts

The bomb explosions in Abuja, Kuje and Nyanya areas, happened on Friday, October 2, barely 24 hours after Nigeria celebrated its 55th birthday.

This came as a shock to the whole nation, as terrorists have not penetrated that far into the heart of the country for months.

The bloody suicide bomb attacks claimed 18 lives at the moment, while over 40 people still remain at Abuja hospitals.

The president’s delegation consisting of Abba Kyari, the chief of staff, Babachir David Lawal, secretary to the government of the federation, and others visited the scenes of the bomb blast and hospitals where the injured are being treated.

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed condolences to the families of the victims, assured of his administration’s commitment in the fight against terrorism.
