President Muhammadu Buhari’s initial promise to release the list of his cabinet members in September remains sacrosanct.
According to Femi Adesina, the president’s Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) in a chat with Daily Independent on Wednesday, the September deadline given by the president stands, as it not midnight yet.
Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, has assured on the release of the Ministerial list tonight.
He said: ”Yes, I agree that today is the last day of September and the President promised to make the list available in September. But there is no cause for alarm since the day is not yet over. September will come to and by 11:59pm.”
Meanwhile, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that he has received the list from the Nigerian president, but it is unsure if the list would be made public tonight.
Sahara Reporters also tweeted that the Nigerian president and his chief of staff were meeting over the list.
