#NigeriaAt55: See Incredible Pictures Of How Conductors Risk Their Lives In Lagos

Commercial vehicles, popularly called Danfo in Lagos are a very popular means of getting around in the city. The vehicles are identified by their yellow paint with double black stripe. The conductors who calls passengers into the vehicle and also collect money have developed a very risky habit of hanging at the entrance of the vehicle. They give out their own seat to passengers for financial reasons at the risk of their own lives. Although they feel they have mastered the art of balancing at the entrance well, there is always the risk of falling off.

Naij.com’s photojournalist, Michael Obasa provides pictures that shows the dangerous risks conductors in Lagos take.
