A pregnant woman was shocked after seeing the face of her late granddad in an ultrasound scan of her unborn baby daughter.
Jade Hornsby from London, UK, got a 4D scan as a gift from her mother but when she looked at an ultrasound snapshot at home she was left baffled and a little bit terrified.

A 21-year-old mother-to-be claimed that she clearly saw the silhouette of her dead granddad Jack Hornsby – who passed away in 2007, while the ultrasound image was taken six years later.

“It’s really spooky. It looks just like him, and you can see him more clearly than my daughter. The lips are puckering up as if he’s about to kiss her on the cheek. You can make out the eyes, nose and mouth so clearly.
Lacey-Mae Head, who will be two next month, was born in October 2013
We just couldn’t believe it. It’s as if he’s blessing her in the womb. I found it really comforting. I have good memories of my grandfather. It is like someone was looking over her.”

It’s not known whether because of Ms Hornsby’s grandfather, who she believes is her daughter’s guardian angel, or because of doctors’ professionalism, she sucessfully gave birth to her daughter in October 2013.
