A woman identified as Joy Umeh, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband for his inability to give her enough money to buy noodles.
According to Daily Post, the woman who was arrested by the Enugu State Police Command for stabbing her hubby, identified as Sunday Umeh, on the stomach, has an antecedent of quarreling with her lover.

DSP Ebere Amaraizu, the police spokesperson in the state, while confirming the incident, said the suspect is already helping the police operatives in their investigations as the injured husband has been admitted at the intensive care unit of the Eastern Nigeria medical centre Enugu, where he is presently receiving treatments.
He explained: “The Enugu state command of the Nigeria police Force through its operatives of Uwani Division have nabbed one joy umeh of no 13 unubi street Achara layout axis of Uwani Enugu for allegedly stabbing the husband one Sunday Umeh on the stomach over an allegation of non fulfilment of family financial responsibility for some days.
“It was gathered that following the incident that allegedly occurred on 25/8/15, the entire arena was thrown into confusion as sympathizers that gathered thought that the man has given up the ghost.

“The suspect is helping the police operatives in their investigations while the injured husband is now receiving treatment at the intensive care unit of the Eastern Nigeria medical centre Enugu and is recovering gradually.”
A man was also reported to have beaten his 61-year-old mother, Dr Hauwa Esther Kadima, an accomplished professor to death at her home in Longview, Texas.
