The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has predicted that Nigeria is likely to experience flooding due to the release of water from Cameroon’s Lagdo dam.
Ogun state is not one of the states likely to be affected by this prediction due to its proximity to Cameroon but the late rain is likely to cause flooding.
The roads and streets in some parts of Ogun state are in a terrible situation and the little rain so far has revealed that the pot holes on the roads are holding more water than they can bear.
Naij.com’s photojournalist; Emmanuel Osodi provides exclusive pictures that give a glimpse of how bad and worrisome the roads are. One wonders what would happen if a torrential rain comes.
