A corpse has been abandoned around CITEC pedestrian bridge, in-between Gwarimpa and Galadima bus stops in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The body’s presence has sparked off rumours from people who live within the vicinity that the victim might have been hit by a hit-and-run driver or an armed robbery attack.
The body which is said to be decomposing already, has become a source of worry for the residents around the area who are concerned about the health risk the body poses to them.
Daily Post reports that some of the residents are calling on the men of the police force, Abuja Environmental Protection Board, AEPB or Area Council officials to take away the corpse.
Recently, a 23-year-old admission seeker, was found hanging in his apartment on Sunday, August 16, after he was billed to gain admission into the University.
In another development, the chief matron of the Lagos state house of assembly, Mrs. Caroline Oriola, who had been missing since Saturday has been found dead in her office.
